Hi Rocky

yep, now I'm off the SSL track, port 25 being ISP-blocked for DUL ip's is 
plausible, and maybe the Netscape si! vs OE no! is also a false track.

If the failing users could go to DOS window and:

telnet mail.bsu.net 25

and see if telnet can connect ...

Then again, what's the point of this "Let's test SMPT AUTH" exercise" 
?  It's not rocket science. and it's not ye' old pioneer days, either.   We 
SMTP AUTH works for Imail and for all the common mail client 
proggies.  Darn, just turn on SMTP AUTH and go.
