We have a severe problem:
i have some new messages in my mailbox. I try to get them, and somewhere after a few
messages the connection aborts (hardware fault, telephone line broken, something
other).
Then i try it again, and the same messages already downloaded to my computer are
downloaded again!
I had a look on the POP3 debug log files, and there the POP3 commands are logged as
they should, i.e. RETR 1, DELE 1, RETR 2, DELE 2, ...
Even in the above situation the files are not really deleted or marked as already
downloaded, but they are downloaded again the next time when the client connects.
Sometimes the client crashes while downloading a partially downloaded message. It then
crashes at the same point all the time.
Is this a known problem, has someone a workaround for it or has anybody the same
effect?
Hermann
