yes, a known situation, if the POP3 session is aborted, this mess occurs.

I had this situ really bad between Paris/eudora and Ohio/Imail over 
sprintlink which was a disastrous link.

Imail is following POP3 protocol, as is the client.  The only real 
solution is to use a reliable link.

Hi Len, this is not possible because i mean dial up connections from outside workers. 
You can�t make it 100% reliable. 

Our previous mailserver (TFS) deletes one mail after the other, right after getting 
the acknowlege for this mail. This leads to starting at the aborted mail, not at the 
first mail as with IMail.
If you choose the option "leave mails on server" in the client, the behaviour is 
alright. The mailserver starts again at the aborted mail, not at the beginning. The 
mails are not deleted, but marked as read when they are succesfully downloaded.
