Actually I don't know if there is a Windows version of Listar. I've very rarely seen good free software in the Windows world. I personally wouldn't pass up the Linux server/Listar combo if I were you. There are tons of security papers on the Internet that walk you through securing a Linux server, and keeping it up to date with updated packages is a cinch... And Listar is one of the best Listserv servers around... and since it's free... as is Linux... you really can't beat it!
