Re: [IMail Forum] Declude Anti Spam on Friday 11:57:37 AM
In our survey of SpamCop, at least on our system, there was
almost no legitimate email at all. We have found this extremely
reliable. We did switch, however, over the holidays to WARN on
everything but WEIGHT10. We gave SpamCop a weight of 9 in Declude
and tweaked all the other values so that we are now observing
about a 95% reduction in spam. The weighting system in Declude
allows you to base HOLD on numerous spam databases and resources
instead of just one, like SpamCop. Now our SpamCop screening is
based also upon many other qualifiers. This adds some 'intelligence'
to our method, but I can say that we still see emails that get
through that are properly listed as spam on SpamCop but no other
resources.
