Check all the major virus sites and check deja.com for nimda.
Each virus site gives a slightly different take on cleaning up nimda, and
what changes it makes to your pc.  You should read all of them to get the
FULL picture.

Then, run some free nimda cleaners from the virus web sites.
Finally, go through and manually check for the registry entries, etc looking
for other traces.
 (look for tftp and root.exe for example)

Really though, a format would be best.
