Technically, it's possible, but it is not likely.

The reason is that with virtual domains, a mail server can correctly claim 
to be any of the domains that it hosts.  However, you normally should only 
have one reverse DNS entry for an IP.  Therefore, it's common for 
mailservers to respond with a host name other than the reverse DNS entry.
