I would second John's sentiment. We appreciate IMail's involvement in this
list. At times the frustration of the admins in this list can be exhibited
in an aggresive posture. Please remember that we're techies and usually type
the first thing that comes out of the fingers! :-) We get tired and cranky
and want to vent to someone at the vendor who wrote the product and has the
most control over the software. Please don't take it personally. But please
do convey the underlying concerns to the powers that be. We all have a
vested interest in improving IMail.

I appreciate you sticking in there with us and look forward to more list
discussion with yourself and/or other IMail representatives.

Thanks,
Todd Holt

Mr. Korsak, I would like to thank you for your time and responses on
this issue in representing Ipswitch.

After all, isn't this type of discussion a part of what this forum is
about? Addressing issues and problems related to Imail?

IMail Forum,

I'll leave the technical discussion to the programmers of the list to
argue
about the MUSTs, SHOULDs and WILLs in the RFC.

I would like to mention that modifying the greeting is now on the list
of
planned changes for the next major release. I just want to reiterate
that
this is a planned change and it depends on how development progresses.
