Declude is not an Anti-Virus software, but a Scanning engine that will use a DOS Anti-Virus scanner such as F-Prot ($20 per year) to scan and take action on all e-mail going through Imail.
Declude Virus and F-Prot DOS has been a very good combination for us, along with a great price and great support from Scott. Imail Anti-Virus is only a few months old, so you probably will not find many that have just shelled out a few thousand dollars for it then shelve it already. Besides, the way Declude works has allowed workarounds for a few other Imail problems. Hats off to Scott. 9:06 PDT 04/18/2002 John Tolmachoff IT Manager, Network Engineer 211 E. Thanks for the reply. Are you suggesting that Declude Anti-Virus by itself without the IMail Anti-Virus app is a much better solution. Do you have any evidence that this is true? Have others experienced this problem and switched over to Declude? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Roger Heath Sent: Thursday, April 18, 2002 9:40 AM To: Max Carter Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] IMail Anti-Virus Application Causes Front-End IMail Server to Stop Processing Mail w/out Warning!
