I am confused even more now. At the site at http://www.dnsreport.com, I put in
wwmp.net and it finds the mx records but when I put in
mail.wwmp.net it does not find the mx records.

The problem I am having is some mail users sign up for a mail list with their wwmp
mail address and they get a message "not a valid address". Do you think it is that
there is no mx record for the mail.wwmp.net? Also I use mail software when I mail to
my list. It has an email checker and when I run it with my own email ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
it
reports there is no mx record.

Do you have any suggestions?

http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/lookup.ch?name=anort.com&type=MX shows that
anort.com does have an MX record. However, one of their nameservers is
lame, which means that "all bets are off" -- they've got to fix the problem
before you can be expected to determine if there are problems on your
end. With a lame nameserver, it could in theory return absolutely anything.

Where did it fail? Using nslookup/dig, the http://www.DNSstuff.com or
http://www.DNSreport.com sites, somewhere else?
