Our mail server is acting as a gateway for one of our clients, so yes, I am doing that and it is working fine without anything in the accept.txt and having relay set to Relay for Addresses. "Relay for local users" will automatically allow anyone to send mail through your server by saying it is from one of your uses. This is by forging the from address, which is quite easy. The accept.txt file is only for additional addresses. In the KB article, the last paragraph is ONLY so that the client mail server will send all outgoing mail from it to your server, which would scan and deliver. If you are not processing their outgoing mail, you can disregard that part. Yes, the KB article does not exactly make that point clear, and I am going to recommend that it be changed. Eric?
