I fully understand your point as I am faced with a similar problem -- users
mistaking e-mail for FTP. But I do not know of any way to divert large
messages to some other mailbox based on overall message size. As I wrote
earlier, you can set a maximum inbound message size but any e-mails that
exceed said limit will be bounced to the sender at the SMTPD envelope level.
Intercepting these messages *before* the bounce seems impossible to me,
given existing IMail rules -- but I may be wrong and someone else on this
list will correct me.

One possible avenue would be to waive or set a high limit on incoming
message size, then write a program la Declude which uses the "SendName"
registry key/hook, and do the redirect. I do *not* recommend trying to do so
unless you fully understand IMail's locking mechanism and other issues. As I
said, perhaps other IMail Forum luminaries will prove me wrong and offer a
solution.

Good luck,

Guy
