Earlier, there was a request to hear from IMGate admins. I use it and love
it.
For me, the biggest block is Sender Address Verification. If someone sends
an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] if the sender's email address doesn't
exist, what good is it? For the post office analogy, it's a fake return
address.

How do I control false positives? My volume is low enought that I can
review my logs and errors. On some checks, I HOLD the email and report a
reject. Most of what gets held are executable attachments- suspect viruses.
Early on, I had problems rejecting email from some mailing lists. Adjusted
my configuration to fix it. Same with some auto-responses from eBay. My
last FP- a Credit Union was sending email from a server which had no DNS
pointer. Whitelisted that server. If I can rule out an error in my IMGate
configuration, I'll email the administrator to inform them of their problem.

Sometimes it is like a religious war. You have to evaluate your options and
the tools available and make choices.

I'm happy with my choice.
