We're running Imail 7.13, awaiting a rebuild on our other server before we
up to 8. Anyway, here's our "problem". It's not so much a problem to ME, I
think this should be the case. Anyway:

User, let's say Billy Bob. so his address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] except
when he set up his mail, he put a space between, so it's set as billy
[EMAIL PROTECTED] So when he tries to send mail, he gets an invalid
address, which it correct, and this line is in the SMTP log:

unacceptable mail address in MAIL FROM: <billy [EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Now I consider this fine, but my boss says it USED to work. Our relay
settings are relay for addresses, with our Ip ranges listed. So I would
think it would work also. Ideas where to look? I don't have a rules file
set, as currently have Declude doing most of the filtering, and nothing in
the kill list to suggest anything either. As I said, I feel this is a
perfectly acceptable error, the email address IS wrong, and to treat it as a
legit email address only server to cause problems later on.

Thanks
Paul
