I have a problem with a new server i set up Running w2003 with Imail 7.13, and about 5000 domains and 50 - 60k of users. The hardware is a 4 way Intel Xeon 1,4 MP with 4 cpu's and 4 gb of ram Hotswap raidcontroler with 256 mb of ram, 5 disks witch are set up in 2 x Raid 1 4 of the disks is 73 gb 15k spinn and a single disk.
The problems i found and asked about here on the list was basicly this: Reading in the reg key took about 1 hour this is before i have any mail sent to the server. >From opening the Iadmin interface to it shows all the 5000 domains it takes about 45 >minutes. After asking here and on another list i contacted Ipswitch by phone to report the incident. Before i was aloved to explain this to a tech / support person i had to buy a service agrement whitch was ok then i can upgrade. Then i was send around in about 1,5 hours, on phone from norway to USA rather expensive, before i ended up with one who seemed to understand the problem, I gave them an entry to the server by terminal services so that they could see for themselves what the problem is. He looked at it asked some other and promissed he would call me back or send an email as soon as they had looked closer in to the problem, on Monday this is 2 weeks ago... How dificult can it be to send an answer or a solution ?
