I understand what the option in Imail for "Auto deny hack attempts"
does, however, I want to know if I could potentially make my email
server unstable if I uncheck this option. I've had a few users NOT be
able to send email, and I have traced it down that Imail has auto -
denied them. If I restart smtp, they can then send email. If the email
being sent has more than 256 characters in something besides the body,
is that non RFC compliant? I have seen a bit of talk about this option
here but not any that talks about the pros and cons of it. Other mail
admins, do you keep this option turned on?

I asked Ipswitch this ame question, and they sent me this answer:

"I doubt that would cause you any problems."

I'm looking for more information than this, any comments?

Thanks
Tom
