One thing to be aware of if you use this setting is that you should at least stop the SMTP service and rename the main.mbx for the account that is capturing and restart the SMTP service every month. I made a F*&!! mistake by not doing this and relying instead on the Imonitor notifitications for low disk space.
As a result, I lost over a year of capturing due to this. All the while the date of the MBX file was changing constantly. I hope someone else will learn from my mistake. Luckily I was able to recover most of it from user's local e-mail programs. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hien Tran" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, August 10, 2004 12:15 PM Subject: [IMail Forum] archiving incoming and outgoing mail > Has anyone had a need to archive incoming and outgoing mail messages. > We are running Imail 7.15 and need to archive ALL incoming and outgoing > mail messages.
