2. For the price of an SA I can have a competing product whose feature set beats Imail handily and whose performance does the same. For a little more than an SA I can go truly industrial-strength... and thats a one-time fee while an SA is the gift that keeps on giving. As an aside, I actually can thank Ipswitch for forcing me to go out into the marketplace and reasearch/comparision-shop. It opened my eyes to just how far behind they have fallen. 3. Ipswitch's pattern of upgrades over the last couple of years has been unimpressive at best (see above). Ipswitch staff posts here have indicated that they feel r&d is a burden on them (reference Jill Jones' post where she stated that the SA's at the old price level didn't fund R&D let alone touching support). 4. Imail is at its end-of-life in the sense that no new copies will be sold. If you ever add another mail server you will have to buy something else, and support it. 5. I don't trust the company.
