Agreed... and IMHO, no one on a dynamic IP connection, dialup or DSL, should
be running their own smtp server. They should be sending out all email via the
smtp server of their provider, i.e. RoadRunner's smtp server. There is no valid
reason I can think of for them to be running their own smtp server, unless they
are trying to hide something from their provider, e.g. spamming.

Most consumer/residential DSL service agreements preclude customers from running
any kind of server behind the DSL connection. If its a business, using a 
business
DSL connection, they are highly likely to have a static IP.
