I admit that this discussion has forked into (interesting) directions,
and that somehow i digressed because my focus was :
' how do I set my client's smtp parameters : my servers,  versus his isp's
servers
( a large percent of assistance requests from our customers)

As for blocking port 25 for dialup connexions, I've never done it before,
but it sounds good and I'll consider it seriously
