Fails To Build From Source, it's a debian-ish term.

I agree, there's absolutely no need to tie the build and packaging
together, the radically different ways pkgbuild, ON/SFW, and others
do this demonstrates (at least to me), that these can work well
(for various opinions thereof) without any real integration with the
packaging machinery.
