Here's a novel idea, don't block them and embrace the technology the kid is bringing into the building.

1) Anything that is in the world when you're born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works. 2) Anything that's invented between when you're 15 and 35 is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it. 3) Anything invented after you're 35 is again the natural order of things

The only real way to fix the little iPod buggers is to employ a NAC

What kind of filter are you using. Our sonicwall filters all internet
traffic regardless of what type of hardware it is. The only thing I
have no control over (filter wise) is cellphones using their data
connections.

Looking for some good advice from you smarter than myself. We are
trying to
block the student iPod Touch's from being able to get to facebook and
myspace and ect. If someone can help me with that, that would be
great.

Also if you would be willing to share your electronic device policy
that
your school has could you please email it to me personally at
mmuel...@emmetsburg.k12.ia.us or you can post it on the info-tech
list if
you would like.

But my big thing is blocking them sites on iPod touch's.

Thanks
