It takes less than a second when done manually.
Thanks. I think the default timeout right now is three seconds, which should be enough, then, but it's possible that it's taking too long to setup the command line shell and/or to notice that the probe has completed.
In any case, I'll make it more forgiving and see if that takes care of the problem.

4.1.1b4 will time out command-line probes that take too long, just as previous versions time out other probes that take too long. Sounds like we need to be more forgiving and allow more time for command-line probes. I'll be more generous for the release version.
How long would you say it takes for your probe to complete when it completes successfully from the command line?
