We had gotten our temp probe working under the previous beta of IM. We simply upgraded to the newest beta in our Debian box and the temp probe is via IM reporting "Down" the "Reason:Command timed out"
From the Debian box we manually checked the probe with the exact commandfrom IM (I know because I copied and pasted the command to make sure. Manually the command still works.
NS1:/home/mike/InterMapper_Settings/Tools# ./check_temptraxe -H 216.169.4.18 -p 1 -w 80 -c 90 Temp Warning: Room1 Rack Temp = 80.9 F
I've found the problem (confusion about the units of time being compared) and this will be fixed in 4.1.1 final. As a workaround, you can set the timeout for the device very high (specifically, 60 times what you would ordinarily want it to be). This only applies to devices using command-line probes.
