Hi,

As the 'icon-crazy' guy amongst the team, I do agree.
To be honest, there is several issues involved getting the current TCIGP converted to a cross-platform format, and basically that involves me... and other projects I have spend my free time on (scripting for Salling Clicker is a major..)

When that is said, I do have plans for it, and is currently working on something, but the state of the Windows daemon compared to the humongus features of IM Traditional (ie the Mac version) is still lacking.

One other major issue, is that of the 3+ years this project has been open to the 'public', I have only had two (2) non-Dartware responses on it, so I figured it was not THAT much people used icon other than the build-in ones...

So, I would love to re-activate this project to a more active level, but would also like to welcome some sort of communication from people using it, or planing to do so.

Remember, if you have icons for it, I would love to include them...

I believe that there are a number of issues regarding custom icon that need
to be re-addressed.

1. There is no information in the manual or in the FAQ's regarding the
creation of these icons. There is info in the User Contributions thanks to
Jakob Peterhnsel.

2. The custom icon project is based in Mac technology, which we all had
prior to the emergence of the cross platform products. That is no longer the
case. Even converting these icons from the original format into something a
Unix or Windows system can use requires the download of a 'sit' file on a
Mac... But if there's no Mac?

3. There needs to be a cross-platform spec (independent of Mac centric code)
for custom icons published in the manual.
