another context is needed besides the Status window for Reason display
Perhaps a customizable Growl <http://growl.info/about.php> type of
notification [for the platform(s) and applications supporting growl]?
What would it take to add growl support to Intermapper? Can you build
a similar interface with transparent info bubbles coming to the
surface when needed like a status change. Larger color bubbles for
higher priority events and mini ones with constant live data. That
would sell your product better and make me happier! ;-)
