iphone does not have device id or anything similiar sent in headers.
At least not in web development

iphone/itouch does have its own unique user agent header which you can
use on server side or event client side javascript code to detect
device type to restrict content access

you need only decent HTML/CSS/Javascript editors to develop for iPHone/
iTouch for web. That's pure web development
