Thank you everyone. The subscription based eBooks for the iPhone must not really be secure for now if somone wanted to "share" their access, it sounds as if they could.
What it appears is that I should wait until Feb. when supposedly 3rd party apps can actually be added to the iPhone. In the meantime, I will try my hand at creating "freebies" to practice making material available for iPhone users. If anyone has any ideas though on ways of making the material "almost" secure (everything can be hacked) then I would be very interested in hearing what you come up with.
