Finally I optimized SolrCore.getCoreDescriptors(). The version in this commit is the one for the 8.x branch - TransientSolrCoreCache.getTransientDescriptors() stays compatible with a default (sub-optimal but still better) implementation overridden by the optimal implementation in TransientSolrCoreCacheDefault.
