I recorded a bunch of stuff today, and never got the tinny audio. I realized after the fact that I should have done more channel changing in the recording schedule, since that seems to be part of the trigger for the problem. So I'll try again tomorrow, changing channels between each episode, and report back. But so far, things are looking somewhat promising. I have yet to experience tinny audio with the new firmware.
