Sorry i confused myself. video32 is the capture device
isn't it.

Ok so what are you displaying the video to?
How can video0 be too slow? It can feed mpeg frames
out as fast as they come in?
It is fast enough for live tv and that is effectively
all you are giving it it's just comeing from the
svideo connector.
