So I guess its the decoder processor? The card previously ran on a XP MCE.
No problems there.
You say its the cx25840 chip it cannot find. However, this card uses a
cx25843 chip.

Does this mean I need other drivers? If so can you point me in the right
direction?

That's the cx25840 chip that it cannot find. Better check your card in a
Windows system. My guess is that your card is broken.
