No, I'm thinking about issue 151, "Incorrect USART initialisation with
low clockspeed and high baudrate".

Ah, yes off course! My short-term memory isn't getting better ....

How did you program 18F27J53 ? Using Wisp ?

Pickit3 (remember: sponsored by VOTI!) with MPLAB under W7.
It is not supported by Pickit2.

Got it working with PicKit2, following instructions here:
http://www.microchip.com/forums/m559429.aspx. It requires an update of
PK2Device.dat file, and, for Linux version, some tinkering within the
sources to accept this update.

Looks like this needs a program to update the PK2devicefile.dat! But that isn't mentioned. I have seen it in the past, it may be on my disk(s) somewhere!

    Wisp648 supports only 5V PICs.

Yes, I figured that... once I plugged and tried :)
PIC is still alive... but thinking about this, that may explain why I
have troubles to deal with USB...

If not the 5V Vdd, the 12V Vpp may have caused damage!

Regards, Rob.
