If we don't talk of numbers, the discussion is pointless :-) I accept 
that those numbers are not necessarily the number of installations, but 
the number of "runs", and you have a good point.

For the remainder, I don't think your further points are good :-) Trends 
are a thing, current popularity another. Do we have a way to measure the 
number of installed applications, etc?
