How about running this thought experiment on two high level languages, one
which requires 3 lines of code and one which requires 1?

The answer is much less clear cut in this case.

The fact that you think in absolutes for problems as complex as this one is
baffling (I wanted to say "nuts" but Liam already used that adjective :-))
but again, you are just trying to use oblique arguments to push Scala,
although at least you refrained from naming the language this time around.
