Maybe I should search for me? smiles.
I haven't been using it much lately since it likes to frustrate me so. But
once I was looking for the control panel or maybe that programs/features
area. Now thanks to a good friend, it resides on the desktop and I sure like
how the control panel for windows 7 is laid out better tthan xp, especially
using first letter navigation.
Usually though, I search for a program not a file or it's contents.

Trish,

Are you searching for programs or files on your computer, or are you
trying to search for text in your files?

I seemingly can find most programs in my computer by just typing the first
few letters of the program's name.

Searching for stuff inside your files is a different search.
