If the other person does not have drop box then you have to send a link for each separate file in your public directory. You can not share the directory on mass with a single link. Hello, Is it true that if I put a folder with bunch of files as a public folder in my drop box account , then send the drop box link for that folder to another person, that in order for them to fetch and download the folder and all its files on their Pc, they need to have a drop box account and also install drop box on their computer/? If so it's a deal breaker of some sorts as I'd prefer the recipient to be able to click on the folder link on their end and download the folder/files without being forced to create a drop box account and install drop box on their Pc.
