Paolo Castagna commented on JENA-160:
-------------------------------------
> Normally, I'd expect someone who was going a checkout of everything to look
> for a "trunk".
Indeed.
Some (or most) of the Apache projects follow a sort of convention which tends
to keep the "root" of the SVN repository very clean, for example:
- ...
This removes of explanations or documentations to the user/developer.
Having a short README when it's needed is a very good idea. Thank you Andy for
adding one it, very useful IMHO.

> SVN Check-Out and Update fails when there are ":" characters in SVN names.
> For example,
> Import\Jena-SVN\Scratch\CJD\Jena2OWLRL\scratch\TestCase:WebOnt-AnnotationProperty-001
>
> fails with error message "The filename, directory name, or volume label
> syntax is incorrect."
> I don't know if there are others. This one blocks further check-out, update
> operations.
