Nermin,
I'm not totally sure if I've gotten that update or not. I generally do
accept most cumulative updates, so if that was one of them, odds are, I
probably did get it, yes. Is there a way I could find out beyond a doubt?
Chris.

Subject: Re: Strange problem with run jaws after logon
Hi all,
I may have an idea about what or who the culprit is here.
On both my machines, one netbook and a laptop with Windows 8.1.1, the
security patch for IE just prompted me to restart in order for the update
to take effect.
I did that, and guess what: JAWS does not come up automatically anymore.
I didn't change anything else on this machine, and since both PCs exhibit
that strange behaviour, I think this is the cause.
I tried to change the JAWS start options to never, restarted JAWS, then
changed it back to always, restarted JAWS, then the PC.
But nothing happened.
No idea why an IE fix would trigger that, but I didn't change or update
anything else.
Have any of you gotten that update?
Regards,
Nermin
