Yeah, I have no fricken idea! I actually did! reinstall which had no
effect.
It's quite all right, I'll probably just call FS tomorrow and see what they
say.

I haven't come across this issue with jaws and windows 7&8.

Absolutely not. I wated for over an hour and it didn't start. Not only
this, but I looked in task manager, so I know what is running. I also
looked in services.msc, and even that didn't show up anything unusual. I
actually hardly have anything loaded at startup.

another thought to consider is?
perhaps jaws just takes a little longer to load once windows desktop
loads.
you may have to many program loading at startup, which will impact on how
quick jaws loads.

Start JAWS after logon
use the arrow key and make sure that always is selected,
now tab okay.

This may be an obvious suggestion but, in addition to checking start
jaws at the logon screen and start jaws after logon for all users,
make sure the start jaws after logon for this user combo box is
indicating always. The other options in this combo are never and
something like all user profile, but I think what you want is for jaws
to always start after logon as long as you aren't sharing the computer
with a non-jaws user.
