debbie eudora should also be able to do this with minor modification.

or close enough.

here is the deal, eudora also has the open next message automaticly.

though personally i think this method is to slow for me.

usually i go through my headers pretty fast just down arrowing.

no time to open and close these messages.

be aware eudora can open messages automaticly will work only first time you
read the message.

not being a outlook express user i suspect it may be the same.

still i am not certain if outlook express scrolls its message on its own, or if
the jfw scripts do this.

or if it reads so much because it has its own parent page.

it is not a child window like eudora is.

no outlook express opens a whole program, so the message is a program to it
self.
so leaveing the program requires closeing to parents.

well eudora does not scroll the page automaticly when the user has it set to
automaticly open next message.

plus jfw
does not issue such a command either.

if jfw did issue the read all command it would by default read only the active
field, being the body of the message.

this would mean that you as end user would be ignorant of the header
information, and it might take longer to figure out if the message is worth
reading.

in fact jfw in automaticly open next message mode only reads the header info.

just the opposit of reading the body of message.

so one needs to get rid of header info, just like they were on the digest.

also in my eudora tutorial on nicks site , located on faq page, their are
instructions for getting rid of the header info.

this requires a pretty simple change to the ini file.

note that the instructions give letters, almost the whole alphabet.
you see the letters that are not their allow the user to see subject, and name
of sender.

its possible to get rid of these, or just leave subject if you like.

you see jfw does not have scripts to do what jfw is doing in outlook express.

so because their is no read all command issued you can accomplish about the
same thing by

putting jfw into read all mode.

though to be honest this is probley something we should suggest to ken.

or some other script writers.

my method does not
work if the message is over a page in size.

but it does allow the end user to insert subject inbetween messages.
