Okay, perhaps I can help, as I am dealing with the same issue. When you get
to a field that requires choosing an underlined letter, activate the Jaws
cursor and move across the line in question. An example would be when you
hit the description field when defining a rule. As you move across the
line, use the insert-f command to hear the font. If the character you land
on is underlined, JFW should report this, and then you can click the left
mouse button and fill in the information requested. Now, I've only done
this successfully on 1 occasion thus far. Whether you need to define a key
to read attribute changes first, I'm not certain. That's initially what I
did, but I don't know if not activating this will still yield the
information as to the underlined letter, but getting that info is the key
here. It is cumbersome, but that's the only way I've found thus far to get
at certain fields like the description field in Outlook 98. Hope this is of
