The alt-d command does, indeed, work to get to the address bar. Should be just as
good as pressing tab. I agree that H-J needs
to find a way to correct this issue, and make sure that they do not disable
application features in the name of screen access. Such
a strategy is completely unacceptable in my book. I believe that anything should be
possible if sufficient effort is applied.
