mucht he same letter you just sent.

I, too, believe that the primary quality of JFW lies in the program's
scripting language, a fact that is obviously clear to HJ since user macros
have been an essential component of their platform since the very beginning.
I, also, am dismayed by the fact that, the immense power of the scripting
language notwithstanding, HJ has, for some inscrutable reason, chosen to
keep its trump card in a dark corner. While the script manual, produced by
contract some time ago, helped immensely, especially for beginners, there
remains serious deficiencies in documentation with respect to some of the
more complex functions available in the scripting language. Moreover, and
a very serious drawback, I think, some of the functions, detailed as fully
operational in the scanty documentation that does exist, simply do not
work. As a programmer, delighted with the flexibility and power the
scripting language gives me, I share your frustration in having so little
documentation of use to advanced script writers. Although one must
acknowledge that large, productive companies like Henter-Joyce must
establish priorities that coinside with marketing demands, one would hope
that, in future releases, the company will recognize the true potential of
the strongest tool available in any screen navigation program available,
the scripting language that allows we users to gain access to applications
that foresee only mice scurrying across busy screens.
