Incidentally I am sure you know that the name HINDU was given to us by Muslims< people living on the banks of "Sindhu" river <i.e river Indus >came to be called Hindus. It had nothing to do with religion or the new mantra of HINDUTVA that we see prospering today. Unlike ISLAM , CHRISTIANITY etc < which are linear> We dont have one holy book, one prophet or commandments for code of conduct etc. As I said earlier I feel all prophets and their respective religions were products of their times .
