Hi @lianetm - Thanks for the time reviewing the PR. Instead of using boolean flags, I added a _STALED_ state to address your concern. I think we do need this state to stay consistent with the state logic, i.e., I agree that unsubscribed is probably not the right state to be in as it hints to the user that it needs to subscribe. Let me know what do you think.
