guys, what nicola is asking is the FC2 bug when
anaconda messes with the partition table of the hard
disk and renders xp unbootable. AFAIK it wasn't a
fedora/linux/grub bug per se, windows just uses wrong
values for the lba and is quite insistent with that.

i'm not sure if this bug is still there in FC6, maybe
they fixed it or maybe they don't consider it a bug to
begin with.

anyways, here's a how to on how to fix it IF it
happens to you. the howto also includes preventative
steps so that you wouldn't have to fix it. all you
have to do is pass the correct lba parameters to
anaconda at install time.
