Thanks Jacky, I've also noticed a few articles the last few days on this
which would not have caught my eye without the discussion here.  I see this
as another positive coming out of tragic events.  However, and I'm not
trying to be argumentative, just trying to learn more details, the article
only states this:

"For Sinn Fein/IRA, with its North American fundraising base and its
dependence on strong political support from Washington and New York, the
World Trade Centre attacks posed particular problems"

These remarks seem very general.  Why don't they identify exactly who
supports them?  And don't they receive support from sources other than
"North America", "Washington" and "New York"?  Is it somehow too
inflammatory or politically incorrect to identify exact sources?
At any rate, I am glad they have been confronted by current events and know
that the war against terrorists does apply to all.
