true...if someone is making decisions solely in those terms then there is an
element of depth & subtlety that gets left out which is unfortunate, imo...

yes...i felt these things were almost completely left out but i believe
there would have been room for some of this if some of the battle scenes
were shortened a bit...

Gone with the Wind- I read it as a kid then saw the movie & felt it was
every bit as good as the book...

even though i found the film lacking i would recommend the film for its
visual stunningness & great scary monsters! i will see parts 2 & 3 for this
alone & enjoy the movie for what it is...
