>fred is so right about this. how i wish i knew how to read and write music
>and not only chord charts. i would know how to play more than a hundred of
>my own songs that i have forgotten through the years.

Well, last night I went to a SUPERBORE party and asked this question. I
just got these WIDE OPEN STARES! Anywho, some of the answers were
interesting. My artist sister said that a muscian not reading music would
be like her not able to know what oils (colors)can be mixed
together.....primary colors etc. Somebody yelled,"Because they are lazy!!"
(Always ONE in every crowd ) Someone commented that maybe Joni's music and
Paul's would have been even better had they learned to read and write music.
I really question this??? Thanks for your responses. This is a question
that I have thought about over the years.
